Travel Program

Cambridge Basketball is an Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) affiliated club with most of our Travel teams participating in the Ontario Basketball League (OBL). This league hosts 5 tournament weekends that includes 12 games, usually in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Click HERE for more information about the OBL. Additional games and tournaments may be booked at the coach’s discretion. Players who are invited to be a member of a Travel team are expected to be available for all practices, games and tournaments.

Sept 13 & 14 (same time for both days)

9-10:15am - U13 girls
9-10:30 - U10 boys
10:30am-12pm - U14 girls
10:45am -12:15pm - U11 boys
12:15-1:30pm - U10 girls
12:30-2pm - U12 boys
1:45-3:15pm - U11 girls
2:15-3:45pm - U13 boys
3:15-4:45pm - U12 girls
4:00-5:30 - U14 boys

U15-U19 Tryout Schedule:

Sept 20 & 21 (same time for both days):
Southwood Secondary School

9:00-10:30am - U15 boys
10:45am-12:15pm - U15 girls
12:30-2pm - U16 boys
2:15-3:45pm - U16 girls
4:00-5:30 - U17 boys
5:45-7:17pm - U17 girls, U19 women, U19 men

Season Information

The season for U10-U14 boys and U10-U19 girls begins in late September and ends in March/April. 

The season for U15-U19 boys (high school aged boys) typically begins with practices in the fall. The OBL season begins in February and runs through to May/June.

Fees

2025-2026 Season Cost:  $675

Includes:  Uniform (returned at end of season), registration costs for Cambridge Basketball and Ontario Basketball, registration costs for the Ontario Basketball League or other league/tournaments.

We invite both new and experienced players to tryout for our teams! Please note that additional costs will be incurred by players/families as a result of travel to and from games and tournaments. This could include fuel, meals, accommodations, etc.
