Spring Skills Session
We are excited to be able to offer a 4-week skills program this spring! Each week will focus mostly on skill development with some opportunity for scrimmage.
This program will run on Saturdays (April 23, 30, May 7 and May 14) and will be offered for boys in grades 1-8 and girls in grades 1-6. See the schedule below for the time for each group.
All Sessions will be held at Glenview Park Secondary School. Registration is scheduled to open on Sunday April 3rd at 10:00am. Space is limited so register early! Bob Howison has been a pillar in Cambridge's sport community for over four decades. He began coaching in the youth program of Cambridge Basketball in 1979 and while serving as its president from 1994-2013 oversaw its growth into one of the most respected basketball organizations in the province. Bob served two terms as chairperson of the Can-Amera Games and has also served as chairperson of the Cambridge Sports Awards Dinner. He has been president of the board of the Cambridge YMCA and in 2003 was awarded the Don and Benita Rope Award as Cambridge's Sports Contributor of the Year. Bob will be inducted into the Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame in the builder category in May 2022.
